ABA Therapy: Schedules of Reinforcement.
The video here explains schedules of reinforcement in ABA therapy.
The video covers different types of reinforcement schedules, including continuous reinforcement. In continuous reinforcement, the behavior is reinforced every time it occurs.
The other type is intermittent reinforcement. In intermittent reinforcement, the behavior is reinforced occasionally. Intermittent reinforcement is used to maintain behaviors that have already been established.
Intermittent reinforcement schedules are further broken down into fixed-ratio, variable-ratio, fixed-interval, and variable-interval schedules, each affecting how consistently and effectively a behavior is maintained.
